To be honest, I wanted to get my hands on this bundle to not only read authors I know & love, but it was also a great chance to try some new ones. And now I’m hooked on a new group of amazing authors!

BLADE: A Bayou Heat Novella by Alexandra Ivy & Laura Wright ~ I’m always down for a paranormal romance.  This one is hot & packed with predatory insta-love you won’t be able to resist. It was sexy & intriguing with a mix of loyalty & betrayal that will have you on the edge of your seat.

DRAGON BURN: A Dark Kings Novella by Donna Grant ~ Did I mention how much I love a good paranormal romance?  Well this one had me hooked from the start.  Angst & mystery & so incredibly sexy hot, you won’t be able to sit still.  Action that has me hooked & ready for more from the world of the Dragon Kings! 

TRIPPED OUT: A Blacktop Cowboys® Novella by Lorelei James ~ An enemies to friends to lovers tale.  Sexy & smart, I enjoyed the banter & instant chemistry between Stirling & Liam.  Trust is tested & loyalty is earned in this flaming high hot romance. 

STUD FINDER: by Lauren Blakely ~ An opposites attract romantic comedy, this Emma-esque tale of hot nerd looking for love, meets matchmaker is a quick read you won’t be able to put down.  As hot & sexy as it is funny.  Full clever banter & so much sweet angst.  Such a fun ride with these characters as they get to know each other in an unconventional way, leading to an unexpected connection, only to reveal they might not be so opposite after all.

#1 CRUSH: by T. Gephart ~ A very sexy, very funny, contemporary romance - this page turner will not disappoint.  Witty, sexy & hilarious, the chemistry is smoldering.  You’ll be entrenched in flirty sexual innuendo & angst as these characters put their hearts on the line.  Have I mentioned how sarcastic & funny this book is – couldn’t get enough!

MY REVIEW

Her Guardian Angel by Larissa Ione, book 6 of her Demonica Underworld series & part of the new Crossover Collection from Lexi Blake.  A lot of connecting of  crossover characters, needed to get the story moving. A little overwhelming for a first time reader of the Demonica Underworld series to catch up on.  Definitely at a disadvantage having not read books from either series.  That said, would recommend for fans who have read the series.

Hit the ground running with steamy chemistry & sexy banter.  Enjoyed the paranormal concepts, & incredibly sexy, connection between this possessive man & a strong woman.  Would have liked a little more angst, but overall, a fan favorite for sure.

Jennings, the first book in her Se7en Sinners series.  Told in third person, from dual perspectives, & set on the south side of Chicago - this paranormal romance hits the ground running.  Action, mystery, disturbingly evil with erotically steamy moments that “…could melt the bulletproof glass just by squeezing my thighs…” ~ all will leave you squirming in your seat.  “Sinful yet sweet.”  Friendships are forged, only to expose betrayals of the deepest kind.  “…steeped in secrets and myth…”  Protectors, possession & love are found between the born sinner & ambassador of evil “You were bred for destruction. Stephens, The Beast Within starts right where The Next Generation leaves you.  Told in first person, from dual perspectives, the continuation of this story will not disappoint.  You'll appreciate way S.C. brings you back up to speed with all the players.  Prepare to be entranced by bonds that may not always remain unbroken.

As Hunter Evans begins working through the reality of becoming what he's been taught to hate - "And who wouldn't struggle with becoming a bloodthirsty nightmare?" He will do what ever it takes to put things right, to avenge his lost soul, bring his unbeating heart peace & justice to this new life.  In the meantime, Nika is left reeling with the remnants of a shattered heart, & feeling every moment of bliss her brother has with his new love, through their ever present emotional bond. 

This story paranormal romance has it all, love, romance, action, surprise twists & an ending that will keep you begging for more.  Heartbreak like no other "Even though we could both potentially live for several millennia, there was no future for us."  Deciding whether to fight, or to let go for self preservation & that of the one held most dear.  Dealing with loss - "My entire life swept away in one painful bite, replaced by a life I barely recognized, and didn't want."

They were all that mattered now."

Have I mentioned how great it is that S.C. throws in some pretty funny dialogue along the way - "Wow, I was about to get staked, just like in some lame vampire flick." LOVE ~ I love that these characters continue to grow & learn life lessons - you can't hate what you don't understand "...see past the species, to the person beneath it."   That they continue to care even when they think they shouldn't & begin to find the beauty in the darkness.  I couldn't get enough of the strong family ties "Family is important. It's possibly the most important thing there is."  I simply can't wait to read more ~ Family is Forever: The Conversion Series Book #6 coming next year

Eversong is the first book in Donna Grant’s new historical paranormal series, The Kindred.  Told in third person from multiple character points of view to balance story-lines that intertwine.  An action packed tale with more than a few surprises, this is a captivating heroine driven, epic historical paranormal romance, told in a medieval world.  Set in England & Scotland, you’ll encounter witches & magic of good & evil.  “First, you need to understand two truths.  There are witches among us, and magic is real.” Mystical creatures & Celtic & Norse lure & a prophecy or two. The Hunter & the Knight, both courageous & strong, they become “…partners with a common enemy.” working together in the hunt for vengeance, retribution. A romance with a solid connection, which turns hot quickly, “The fire that was between them grew quickly and turning into an inferno, scorching everything around them.”  Desire on a primal level, “…it made him burn with need. It was fiery and brilliant.” Another of the unrequited sort.

This book left me “Surprised and intrigued.” I’m particularly fond of the Varroki leader story line & am so looking forward to seeing her story continue to unfold… Look for the next Kindred book, Spring 2018

And being a human who was part vampire was even less easy.”.  Having to live deceptive lives to protect themselves, their family & those they hold most dear, the bond between these characters is beyond close – their “…family is everything.”.  Angst, “a love triangle, or, square, to be more accurate…”, mystery, action, & fighting against a threat you didn’t see coming.  So much more emotion than I expected with surprise twists & little bit of a cliffhanger that will leave you ready for more… have no fear… The Beast Within – coming in January 2018.
