Listen, Pitch by Lani Lynn Vale is book 3 in her There's No Crying in Baseball series, but can totally be read as a standalone. I say this with certainty, because it is exactly what I did.
Told in first person, from dual perspectives this is a bad boy, sports, mob, angsty contemporary romance that will have you chasing the next page turning twist. Sarcastic, sexy banter & heartwarming suspense all in one. Henley & Rhys are perfectly matched - "I don't want Netflix and Chill. These characters had me on the edge of my seat - life, death & everything in between before it's all said & done.
